Trans*Thriving: Mind, Body and Spirit
Trade has been awarded £267,520 funding over the next three years from the National Lottery Community Fund for a groundbreaking project.

HPV Cancer Awareness
We are working with LGBTQ+ community members to develop new resources to raise awareness of cancers linked to the HPV virus.

Street Smart
In 2024/25, Trade ran the Street Smart project to monitor and report hate against our community. Experienced hate? Tell Trade.

World AIDS Day 2024
For World AIDS Day 2024, we organized a guided walk around Leicester City centre to visit sites connected with the history of community responses to HIV in the city.

Leicester 10k Run – Fundraising
In March, 8 people ran the Leicester 10K run to raise funds for Trade. Together, they raised £3,366.60 to support our work.

Chinese Language Sexual Health Advice
We worked with a Chinese queer researcher to produce two short, animated videos about sexual health for Chinese speakers in the UK.

Trade’s Mpox Response
When the global Mpox outbreak occurred in 2022, Trade was at the heart of the response in the East Midlands.

Don’t be a Dick
Trade has produced a short booklet for cis, heterosexual teenagers who want to support their LGBTQ+ friends and be better allies.

Behensexplaining Kitty Parties
In 2021, we launched the Behensexplaining project to develop new tools to empower South Asian women in Leicester to look after their sexual health.
