Leicester 10k Run - Fundraising
In March, 8 people ran the Leicester 10K run to raise funds for Trade. Together, they raised £3,366.60 to support our work. Could you run for Trade?
More about the project
Trade has been recognized as a charity partner on the Run For All Leicester 10k run for the next three years. This year, 8 people ran and raised sponsorship to support our work. Those runners represent a broad cross section of the communities that Trade supports – there were gay and bi runners, trans and cis runners, sober runners, undetectable runners, and neurodivergent runners.
Most of our core services are funded by contracts from local public health departments, the NHS, and grants from charitable foundations. Donations from the public and corporate donors help us to respond quickly to the needs of our communities and try out new projects to meet those needs. Donations also help us to provide additional support for those members of our communities who are most vulnerable and sometimes fall between the cracks.
Visit our donate page to contribute to our work, or contact the Trade office to discuss how you could raise funds for us – including running the Leicester 10k next year.
