If you think you have been exposed to HIV, you can get PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) from A&E. This should be taken within 72 hours of potential exposure. If needed, and you are already on prescription, you can also obtain single doses of PrEP. Emergency contraception can be obtained from certain pharmacies (free for ages 24 and under) or from A&E.
